This Remington manufactured early variation takedown frame is for the earlier No. 4 rolling block rimfire rifle which requires the early variation locking (takedown) lever (sold seperately). The overall condition is very good exhibiting a brown patina with some specks of older rust and pin prick pitting present. This is the only part on the No. 4 rolling block rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Frames do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
